Detroit has filed for bankruptcy. That is right the entire city of Detroit is bankrupt. Despite what Obama said last year about not letting Detroit go down this road and vowing to do anything to stop it, it has happened. The questions that we must now ask ourselves is “What happens next?”. Detroit is the largest city in our country to have ever filed for bankruptcy. How many of our other major cities are on the brink and we do not even know it? The economy is getting worse if you pay attention to what is actually happening. Could there be a major collapse in the future? If there is a major devaluation of the American dollar how are you prepared? I would recommend for those that are worried to start purchasing their preps now while their dollars are worth more.
I have noticed that there is beginning to be quite a bit more bartering happening. Silver and gold are being used more and are more widely accepted as a means of payment for products.
